Welcome to Gretel’s Introduction Post!
Gretel Alexa de Lourdes Roux Morgan was born on March 9, 1999. One of the things that describe my sister Gretel the best would be her strong character. She could be very difficult to deal with, but once you get to know her you actually begin to understand where she is coming from. Is both a litte frustrating but fascinating at the same time dealing with and understanding her. She has a hard time accepting when she is wrong, but after a little discussion and a lot of yelling she will eventually come to her senses and accept defeat. She is extremely sensitive and kind of a drama queen. But I love her. Even with her over the top and melodramatic personality. At the same time, Gretel is also one of the funniest, weirdest, and most loyal people I know. She will always, ALWAYS stand up for you. She will have your back, and lend you a hand if you need one. My sister will always be there for you when you need her. She will drop everything and come to your rescue no matter what. Me and her have had our differences, but something I am sure of is that she will always be there.
She LOVES stealing clothes from her sisters, and claiming they are hers when they are clearly not. I have never told her this, but it is kind of admirable and funny the excuses she comes up with on the spot. Props to her for being able to think on the spot like that. But now in more seriousness. Gretel is in love with drawing, painting, and basically anything that has to do with art. She is a freshman right now in SCAD University and she is doing great. It is an art school so I think it is the perfect place for her and all her talent. She enjoys watching t.v. shows, playing with her dog, spending time with her family and friends. She is very passionate about acting and singing. She has an amazing voice and recently performed for the first time in front of an audience at my grandmother’s funeral. She was so strong and I will always remeber that moment. It was just so special.
Horses have become a really big part of my sister’s life. She started years ago as a hobby after quitting ballet, and she fell in love. She fell in love with the sport and everything that came with it. Her horses are like a part of her. She connects with them in a way I never thought was possible for a human and an animal to do. She is very determined, disciplined, and a hard worker. She has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time, and that is all because of her passion and devotion. I admire my sister a lot. She inspires me to work harder and reminds me that if you love what you do, then the rest does not matter.
Gretel has had a hard past couple of years. She was not in a good place. We had some hard times with our parent’s divorce and some of us took it harder than others. She had difficulty dealing with the whole situation, and that lead to a few dark years. I won’t get into detail about that but the reason I am mentioning this is because I want everyone to know how proud I am of my sister today. She came out on the other side and she is in such a good place now. She is full of love and life.
Now some pictures…
Gretel, we have a really weird, but awesome relationship. Our games and jokes are ones that I do not think anyone would understand. I think I laugh the most when I am with you, and I enjoy that more than you could ever know. You are a very complicated human being, but in a good way. We both know we have always had our differences, but I love you so much and I am so happy we have gotten closer over this past few years. I do believe that I could tell you anything and will receive nothing but support in return. I am really glad you are my sister. I hope you know how special you are. Your strength will allow you to get through anything. But I hope you know I will always be here to help you if you get stuck.
Could not imagine my life without you going through my closet 🙂
