R. Max is ONE!

Today the cutest little boy turns 1!

It is unbelievable how fast time goes by. It seems like it was just a few months ago that Max was born. But its been a whole year and that really is shocking. He is growing up so fast and we could not be more in love. He is such a handsome, loving, and just all around fun little guy. I have to be honest and say that when we were told he was going to be a boy, I did not know what to think. My life had always been about having sisters, and I had given up any hope of ever having a little brother. So when the news came, I was both excited and extremely nervous. I did not know how things will work with a boy in the house, and if we were going to be able to connect with him as we did with Emma. But boy was I wrong.

I know its only been a year, but I can say with extreme certainty that even though I have been away in college for the most part, this year has completely changed our lives for the better. Max has changed the whole dynamic of our family, and I think every single one of us is completely smitten with him. I never pictured a boy being a part of my siblings/bunch, but now I honestly can’t imagine our life without him.

I can’t wait to see him grow up and become the amazing man I know he will.
