If you like The Big Bang Theory, you are going to LOVE Young Sheldon. This show is exactly what is appears to be. It is a look into the young life of our beloved Sheldon Cooper. We get to see how he developed all of his quirks, his experience at school, his relationships with his family, and most of all, how this young boy dealt with being so different to every one around him in Texas. His struggles to fit in, his extreme cuteness and mature behavior, and his kind heart will make you fall in love with Sheldon Cooper even more. At least that’s what is happening with me. You will get a glimpse into how the “Soft Kitty” song came to become a thing each time he got sick, Sheldon’s germaphobia, his smart-ass like behavior towards his teachers, and how his obsession with trains started.
The show takes place on Sheldon’s childhood home, and introduces you to the many “adventures” he lived with his family as a kid. The viewers get to see the dynamic around the house, which revolves mostly around Sheldon. He is basically the only thing that matters due to his complicated personality.
One of my favorite things about this show, is the fact that we have the adult Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) narrating the story in the back. It really feels like he is looking back on his childhood and telling us all about it. The show only has a few episodes, but so far I am loving it and can’t wait to see what more we find out about Sheldon and what more we can connect to the present (The Big Bang Theory).
Young Sheldon will make you laugh, but will warm your heart at the same time. This is a T.V. show that I think has been very well received by the Cooper fan base, and I am positive you are going to like it too. It does not matter if you haven’t seen The Big Bang Theory, you don’t need it in order to understand what is going on in this one. But let me warn you, I am pretty sure you are going to want to see it after watching a couple of the episodes that will introduce you to little Sheldon’s life.
Hope you enjoy 🙂
Happy Tuesday!

Feliz Martes!
