Friday Favorites

Hello Guys!

Today I am introducing a new segment called: Friday Favorites

This will be a blog post that I will upload every Friday and will cover one or more of my favorite things, if that makes sense. Sometimes, from that specific week.

So this first post is all about my favorite books and what I like to read. I am going to list some of the one that I have read lately. Future posts could be about more weeks that I read in the future, but Friday Favorite will also cover other categories of my favorite things like restaurants, activities, traditions, etc. The goal of this segment is not only to share with you, but also to be able to serve as a guidance/reference point in case you find yourself wanting to try new things but needing some ideas.

So lets begin…

I usually go more for mystery fiction books, but I pretty much like to read everything. I totally love reading memoirs from people that inspire me or I look up to or simply because I am interested in that specific person. Books allow me to escape and it is perfect way to just relax and have a little me time. Aside from entertaining me, I am developing more writing skills and spending my time in a productive way, so that is always a plus. You know what they say, a good writer is a good reader.

One of my favorite authors is Liane Moriarty. She writes mostly about mystery and housewives drama, which I love. I have not read all of her books, but I am on working on it, and I have loved every single one so far. I just find them to be both easy readers if you just want to sit back and enjoye a good book, but at the same time super interesting and good at keeping me engaged. I have devoured every single one of them. Recently one of her books, Big Little Lies, was made into a T.V. show and has been a big hit.

So, here are a few of my favorite books:

  • Big Little Lies (Liane Moriarty)
  • The Husband’s Secret (Liane Moriarty)
  • Truly Madly Guilty (Liane Moriarty)
  • Three Wishes (Liane Moriarty)
  • El Principito (Antoine de Saint-Exupery)
  • The Five People You Meet In Heaven (Mitch Albom)
  • Seriously… I am Kidding (Ellen DeGeneres)
  • Best Friends (Jennifer Weiner)

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Have a good weekend 🙂
