Hello Guys!

Welcome to our second Friday Favorites 🙂

Today I am going to be sharing with you some places/things I tried out this week and liked a lot.

 1. I heard about this movement called 4Ocean. They are actively removing trash from the oceans and turning them into bracelets. Every bracelet they sell, equals to one pound of plastic removed from the oceans. Isn’t that amazing? So as soon as I heard about this I decided I had to order a bracelet. I got mine this week and they are super cute to wear and at the same time support a great cause.

2. We use Uber a lot here in D.C. Sometimes I can’t walk to school because it is just too cold outside, so on Tuesday me and my roommate Antonella rented one of the City Bikes and now we are using them for both going to school, or just to wander around the city now that it is getting hotter. It is super fun to ride these bikes and breathing in the fresh air of the city. At the same time, we are exercising while having fun. It really does not get much better than that guys. We have decided we are going to use this bikes a lot more in the future. They are cheap to rent and a good source of transportation. Below you can see me enjoying one of the bikes 🙂

3. A while ago, I heard about this place that is called SOULEX Float Spa. And it is exactly what is says it is. It is a spa that provides you with a sensory deprivation tank that allows you to relax and rejuvenate. One hour of floating equals eight hours of sleep and four hours of meditation, which is awesome. I went today and tried it with my roommate and we absolutely loved it. We left very relaxed. Below you can see the float.

4. There is this place called Joe and the Juice that just opened here in D.C. We went there today to grab lunch right after our float, and it was absolutely amazing. They are very healthy and organic. They sell power juices, healthy sandwiches, things like ginger and turmeric shots, and of course, coffee. Hehe. I fully recommend this place for a light lunch if you are ever in NYC, L.A., or D.C.
