Hi! I am Michele!

I am sophomore in college studying public relations and strategic communications at American University in Washington, DC. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, dancing, traveling, going out to dinner, reading, writing and having fun. I love roller coasters, drinking coffee, t.v. shows, and making memories.

My life is pretty interesting. I am the oldest of seven siblings. Five girls and one boy. They are 18, 17, 14, 14, 3, and 1 years old. We had 7 dogs but for personal reasons we now only have two, a Husky named Kayla and a Golden Retreiver named Angie. I love my friends. They mean everything to me. I honestly do not think I could have found myself a better group. You will be able to learn more about them in future posts.

My sisters mean everything to me. If I had to use one word to describe myself, I would probably go with “sister.” I pride myself in being the big sister and I love taking care of them. We went through some really hard times together. Our parents got divorced about six years ago and we had a really rough time because of that. My dad had moved out and my mom, as amazing as she is, was really sad. I had to step up and I try to shield them from all the pain and negative energy that had invited itself into our home. We stuck it out together, but it really did change our lives and our view of the world. It made us both: stronger and closer. That is one of the main reasons I think we are so close and dependent on each other now. We are like a team. Something I am actually grateful for even with all the hardship we had to endure.

My parents are both remarried now. There is five of us from one marriage, and then there is another girl and a boy from my dad’s side. Both of my parents are great and gave me and my sisters a memorable childhood. Their new partners are also amazing. They are all lovable, funny, and really inspiring. We have a pretty great life. Hectic, but great.

I have an instagram account I created for my youngest sister, who we call Princess Emma. One day I would love to get a job that involves rebranding and social media management. I love social media and the power it has to influence people 🙂
